📘 Refund Policy 

At SecuGuard® Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality security training and certification programs. Due to the digital, professional, and time-sensitive nature of our services, we maintain a strict no-refund policy, with very limited exceptions.

By enrolling in our programs, purchasing our materials, or using our platform, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

❌ No Refunds – General Rule

All payments made to SecuGuard® Academy are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Online or in-person course enrollments

  • eBook and digital training manual purchases

  • Certification exam fees

  • Booking fees for live or recorded sessions

  • Subscription or access fees for learning platforms

🕒 Limited Refund Window (if applicable)

In rare cases, students may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase only if:

  • They have not accessed, downloaded, or started any course material

  • They submit a written request to info@secuguard.ca within the 48-hour window

  • The purchase was not part of a discounted promotion or bundled package

No refunds will be issued after 48 hours, regardless of course access, download status, or completion.

⚠️ Conditions That Do Not Qualify for Refund

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the content or teaching style

  • Failure to attend live sessions or complete the course

  • Inability to meet certification requirements or failing the exam

  • Mistaken purchases or duplicate enrollments

  • Lack of access to required equipment, software, or internet connection

🔁 Credit Option (if offered)

In limited cases and at our discretion, a course credit may be issued for future enrollment, subject to availability and written approval from SecuGuard® Academy. This does not constitute a cash refund and is non-transferable.

🌐 Jurisdictional Compliance

We operate in accordance with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws, including those in Quebec and other provinces. If local regulations require refund provisions beyond what is stated here, we will comply accordingly.
